Opportunities available at Marine-i Innovation Accelerator Programme
Marine-i has announced that limited places are still available at its three-part coaching programme designed to help local businesses bring their innovation ideas to market. This new programme is aimed at small or medium sized businesses in Cornwall who have an interest in marine technology. The programme is free to eligible businesses.
Part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Marine-i is designed to help the marine technology sector in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly grow through harnessing the full potential of research and innovation.
The workshops will be held at Bedruthan Hotel, Mawgan Porth on Thursday 10th March, Wednesday 23rd March and Wednesday 6th April. Each session runs from 9.30am-3.30pm.
This free programme will be delivered by experienced Growth & Innovation Consultant, Ben Rotheray from The Value Engine, who said: “The course is designed to help businesses accelerate their innovation journey. Whether the innovation idea is already in the pipeline or at an early stage of development, it will help businesses in mapping out the journey and overcoming obstacles. We can offer practical, individual support to businesses and develop individual action plans to get their ideas to market more quickly and with a greater chance of success.”
Prof Lars Johanning, Programme Director for Marine-i said: “This a great opportunity for local businesses to get some free, expert advice on how to get their new products or services to market. Innovation can create valuable new revenue streams for businesses – provided it is managed effectively. This programme will show businesses how to get their innovation on track, as well as giving the opportunity to network and share ideas with other marine technology businesses in Cornwall.”
