Signable, one of Bristol’s fastest-growing tech companies, employing 55+ people across the region, has been Highly Commended in the Best Place to Work category at the 2025 Tech South West Awards, recognising the company’s people-first culture and its continued impact on the region’s fast-growing tech ecosystem.

The eSignature and workflow automation provider was selected from a competitive field of organisations across the region. The commendation highlights Signable’s longstanding dedication to building a workplace centred not just on business performance, but on belonging, wellbeing and meaningful employee experience, positioning the company among the top employers in the South West at a time when workplace expectations across the tech industry are rapidly evolving.

Christina Green, Chief People Officer at Signable, said: “Being Highly Commended in this category is incredibly meaningful because it recognises what sits at the heart of our business: our people. We’ve always worked to create a place where individuals feel supported, trusted and valued, and I’m proud of the team who bring that culture to life every day.”

Olly Culverhouse, CEO of Signable, added: “Our culture has always been the foundation of Signable, shaped entirely by our people. From the start, I wanted to build the kind of workplace I’d want to be part of myself. Seeing that environment recognised in this way is something I’m extremely proud of.”

Signable is among the region’s growing cluster of scale-ups contributing to job creation and innovation across the South West’s £81bn digital economy*.

It also builds on Signable’s growing momentum within the South West tech ecosystem. Following the company’s Scaleup of the Year win at the SPARKies Awards in July, Signable continues to emerge as one of the region’s standout growth stories. As the business scales its product, team and market presence, it has maintained a people-first culture at its core, reinforcing the South West’s reputation for producing innovative, high-growth companies that prioritise both performance and employee experience.

Further demonstrating this commitment, Signable recently received its fourth consecutive certification from Great Place to Work, and was recognised across five categories: Technology, Women, Wellbeing, Development, and Small Organisations. These accolades recognise excellence in inclusion, wellbeing, development and workplace culture, reflecting the company’s sustained investment in creating an inclusive and empowering environment for its team. This is further evidenced by the fact that 100% of employees said they would endorse Signable as a great place to work, and 100% said they feel they can be themselves at Signable.

The judges praised Signable’s innovation, ambition and impact, noting its strong contribution to the South West tech community and its ability to scale without compromising culture. Over the past year, the company has strengthened both its product and people strategies, introducing initiatives such as increasing fully paid second parental leave from two to four weeks, launching a coworking budget for all staff, and expanding support for wellbeing, development, and internal communication. These sit alongside existing benefits, including unlimited holiday, paid volunteering days and quarterly company away days.

Being Highly Commended acknowledges the measurable outcomes of these efforts and reinforces Signable’s commitment to building a workplace culture that evolves with its growth, one that places people firmly at its core while continuing to scale its product footprint in the UK and beyond.
