Kelpi chosen as one of 13 change makers to join L’Oréal’s Eur 100 million sustainable Innovation “L’accelerator” Program

Kelpi are pleased to announce that they have been chosen as one of 13 startups and SME’s from nearly 1000 applications from 101 countries across the globe, to join “L’Accelerator” – L’Oréal’s flagship sustainable innovation program. With €100 million committed over 5 years and run in partnership with University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), “L’Accelerator” aims to be a catalyst for scalable sustainable solutions of the future to solve the most urgent challenges in climate, nature, and circularity.

Kelpi has been chosen as one of the first 13 pioneers to participate, showing the ‘highest potential to address next generation packaging’. 

They will now enter an intensive support phase lead by the CISL innovation team, focusing on pilot readiness. They will also have the opportunity to gain access to L’Oréal’s global resources to launch a 9-month pilot project and potentially have their solutions scaled across the group’s international operations. 

Kelpi looks forward to collaborating with L’Oréal Groupe, and fellow cohort members as they work to develop and scale solution that address, climate, circularity and nature challenges within the beauty industry.
