Jam Up! has officially launched its crowdfunding campaign, in collaboration with Cornwall Creative UK and Crowdfunder. Jam Up! is a neuroaffirmative digital platform supporting children and young people with additional needs to complete everyday tasks such as getting dressed and cleaning teeth, routines that can otherwise be a significant source of daily stress for families.

Recently named Best Start-Up at the Tech South West Awards, Jam Up! is recognised for its innovation, impact, and strong potential to scale.

This crowdfunder will directly fund the development of three new family-requested tasks and additional pet adventures, helping more children build confidence and independence in their daily routines. New features will include support with packing a bag, managing menstruation, and helping children stay hydrated, all shaped by what families have told us they need most.

“Jam Up! was created because daily routines can be one of the hardest parts of family life for children with additional needs and their families. This crowdfunder allows families to directly shape what we build next and helps us turn lived experience into practical, positive support,”
— Rachael Malthouse, Founder of Jam Up!

Why it matters
For many families, everyday routines can be exhausting, stressful, and emotionally draining. Jam Up! was created in response to these real-world challenges, turning lived experience into practical, positive support. By backing this crowdfunder, supporters are helping to reduce daily stress for families, promote children’s independence, and ensure digital health tools are neuroaffirmative, inclusive, and genuinely shaped by the people who use them.

Supporters can also access a range of rewards, including:

✨ One-night B&B at The Mason’s Arms (voted Best Pub in Devon)
✨ A two-course meal for two at Taylor’s Restaurant, Tavistock
✨ Corporate sponsorship packages, from digital brand assets to sponsoring a healthcare practitioner support video or an entire Jam Up! task
✨ 12 months’ access to the Jam Up! platform
