A lack of knowledge is holding many farmers back from investing in new agricultural technology, according to a new survey by NFU Mutual .

Lack of access to finance was the second highest reason limiting respondents (30%), followed by uncertainty about the future (17%) and supply chain difficulties (7%).

Free agri-tech training courses to tackle farming and woodland management skills shortages launched in the South West

In January, Duchy College in Cornwall and Bicton College in Devon are running an 8-week Agri-Tech woodland management course to teach the technical skills needed in modern woodland management and farming.
