What's the secret to creating a thriving company culture?

The world of work is changing at breakneck place - where, how and why we work all look very different now to how they looked a year ago. Companies are having to think on their feet and adapt quickly in order to attract and retain the best talent and keep their identity and culture intact - while keeping employee wellness front of mind. 

The companies who use this as an opportunity to think deeply about their culture, the needs of their staff and their ways of working are the ones who will emerge strongest - but  how can they build, maintain and enhance a thriving culture in such a rapidly evolving ecosystem?

That's what Interaction's new fortnightly podcast, Thrivalism, aims to uncover, with a stellar variety of guests dissecting key topics such as workplace design and build, culture and community, sustainability, and, of course, the future of ‘work’. 

For the first episode, the team caught up with Lucy Sunner, head of culture at Autocab, a tech company recently acquired by Uber. Lucy dives deep into how workplace culture can be created, harnessed and scaled, especially in the tech sector.

She outlines the role of communication, rituals and “non-transactional” interactions in building a cohesive workplace community, looking at how to surmount the challenges around remote and hybrid working models and how to really understand and act on the needs of employees to create a resilient, forward-thinking organisation.  

The new podcast is just one channel the Interaction team are using to explore the changing world of work for South West businesses.
