Falmouth University’s Venture Studio, Launchpad, is running a fully funded practical workshop from 29 June to 1 July designed to equip early stage incorporated companies and freelancers with the knowledge and skills needed to accelerate their business.

Participants will gain comprehensive training, practical advice, and guidance from industry experts Stephens Scown and Inkwell along with takeaway resources to help them and their business grow.

Across two and a half days the workshop will cover everything from investment readiness, pitch preparation, running a board and corporate governance to tax reliefs and intellectual property.

Head of Launchpad, Steve Cox, said: “I’m really excited to announce that Launchpad is partnering with Stephens Scown and Inkwell Agency to deliver our first business accelerator workshop aimed at supporting new Cornish businesses and freelancers, with ambitions to grow.

“Participants can expect an impressive line-up of workshops and commercial experts, covering all the key aspects that you need to accelerate your business success.”

The event takes place in the Launchpad studio on the Penryn Campus from Wednesday 29 June to Friday 1 July. Visit the Eventbrite page to sign up, or contact launchpad@falmouth.ac.uk for more information.

Launchpad is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Research England and Cornwall Council.
