Tech marketing agency Astley Media has relaunched as Program as part of the company’s growth plans and shift towards supporting the South West’s leading positive impact brands.

With a host of clients already across tech, government and education, the agency is setting up its second base in the region, in Bristol, to complement its current site in Exeter.

As founders of the regional organisation Tech South West, and with clients including Jurassic Fibre, Web Select, Timewade, Plymouth Science Park, Singer Instruments, BIT Group, Digital Devon, Nice Group, SWBC and Digital Skills Partnership, Program is set to focus on the brand trailblazers intent on ‘positive impact for people and planet’.

CEO Dan Pritchard said: “We can make the biggest positive difference by helping the trailblazers who are striving for a better future. From elearning and sustainable fashion to ultrafast broadband networks and biotech, now is the time to focus our expertise and energies on the brands and organisations that truly matter.

“We have an incredible team at Program, passionate about the work we do and the positive difference we can make together. WIth a planet threatened by climate change and loss of biodiversity, and a myriad of political and economic challenges, these are uncertain times. That is why it is more important than ever to achieve lasting positive impact. Telling the stories of innovative tech solutions, empowering communities or forging powerful collaborations - we are excited about the journey ahead.”

Tech leaders, science park CEOs, clients and key partners gathered at Program’s Exeter office, at Clockwise, Southernhay, to celebrate the relaunch. In the coming weeks, the agency is running tech brand masterclass sessions at Bristol Technology Festival and launching the company’s annual Tech Leaders Brand Insight Report.

Alongside the new Program brand and a second site at Clockwise, Bristol, the marketing and communications agency is also launching a Brand Creative division, led by Chris Noble, who has previously delivered a range of creative projects for the likes of Adidas, Converse, P&G and Nike.

Astley Media was founded by Marc Astley, who stepped down as a director earlier this year. The team, which operates across its Exeter and Bristol sites, includes Emma McLeod, Director of Client Services and Caroline Orr, Director of Marketing, account managers and account executives.

Emma said: “Over the last ten years we have recruited some super talented individuals, incredibly passionate about delivering outstanding work for clients that makes a really positive difference.

“Going forward, our team is really enthusiastic about the journey ahead. With a new name, look, vision and Bristol office, we are excited about the future and the many possibilities that Program will bring - working with innovative brands to achieve even more award winning projects and campaigns.”
