Membership organisation to support diversity in AI set for London launch

Diverse AI, a membership organisation dedicated to supporting and growing diversity in the field of Artificial Intelligence, is organising its launch event in London on 21 June at Curve Club, Westland Place, in the heart of London.

The event promises an interactive evening where attendees will hear from the organisation’s founder, Toju Duke, on Diverse AI’s vision for an inclusive AI future, explore ways to actively participate in its mission, and get an opportunity to network with others in the AI community.

Diverse AI is a UK-based community interest company and a not-for-profit membership organisation that aims to "drive positive change by supporting and growing diversity in the field of AI."

However, the lack of diversity in AI and the broader tech sector is a well-known issue, which could lead to apparent biases in AI technologies that have negative effects on marginalised communities and the world at large – Diverse AI hopes to address this challenge by building a more diverse and equitable future through AI.
