Aimed at ambitious businesses in the tech space looking to grow, registration is now open for this in-person event taking place in Bristol on the morning of Wednesday 31 January.

Learn how and when to involve professional service advisors in your business.

It's often who you know, and leveraging what they know, that can help you meet the challenges of growing your business.

Bringing together speakers from Burges Salmon, Grant Thornton, Deepbridge Capital and HLK, the discussion will revolve around how early-stage enterprises and scaling businesses can make sure they’re on the right track by seeking timely professional advice from solicitors, accountants and IP attorneys, and why this matters to investors.

The panellists will explore how advisors can work with you and your enterprise to protect and leverage your key market differentiators, increasing your value proposition and allowing you to focus where you excel.

The panel of experts, experienced in working with early-stage businesses and helping them to navigate the issues they often face, will share real life examples of how advisors do more than just provide a necessary service, why they are considered by many as informal partners and part of the team, and an invaluable source of guidance, connections, and support.

Organised by HLK, the intellectual property firm, the line-up of speakers includes:

  • Caroline Day, Partner and UK and European Patent Attorney at HLK (chair)
  • David Blake, Investment Director at Deepbridge Capital, an early-stage venture capital investor in disruptive technology, life sciences and renewable energy companies
  • Amy Carr, Senior Associate in the Corporate legal team at Burges Salmon
  • Will Rose, Associate Director in the Corporate Finance team at Grant Thornton.

After the discussion and questions, there’ll be time for networking.
